With a global network of 50 offices, including 13 in mainland China, the HKTDC encourages international companies to leverage Hong Kong as a gateway to global markets. To create overseas business opportunities for companies around the world, the HKTDC organizes around 30 international trade fairs and conferences annually, and supports successful partnerships between companies and local/international buyers, investors, and suppliers through business missions and networking activities. It also regularly publishes reports on global market trends and industry statistics, while offering up-to-date market insights via its digital news platforms. Through its customized online and offline business matching services, the HKTDC has facilitated over 24 million business connections annually. The Korea Office of the HKTDC was expanded in 2017 in response to growing trade and economic exchange between Korea and Hong Kong.
